I am overwhelmed.
The mountains crush in on me.
They grow with each passing day.
I am buried.
Oh God I cry out to You!
Save me from despair!
Give me eyes to see the task at hand,
the next step to take.
Let me not be overtaken with
the entirety of the mountain.
I wait, silently, for You.
Your peace flows into my soul.
I am calmed. I can breathe again.
Oh God, You are my strength,
You light my way.
I will sing praise to You, Most High God!
